Nubbintown Farms Rest Retreat

An invitation to be still and listen to the LORD as you start a new year

January 6-7, 2023 | Nubbintown Lodge, Edison Georgia (approximately 45 minutes from Dothan)

The price includes a two-night stay, food, and sessions

WHAT DOES STILLNESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?

If you have trouble answering that question, welcome. As wives, mothers, and women who work hard, we get that there isn’t much time to be still, much less rest. We are too busy hurrying our kids out the door for morning carline, staring at our computer screens over lunch, and taking care of toddlers to stop and be still. Our souls desire to be still, but we don’t always know how to create space for stillness within our daily schedules. That’s why I’d like to extend an invitation to you to be still, and participate in a Rest Retreat hosted by The RestFull Project.

WHY DOES REST MATTER?

During our two-night Rest Retreat, you will have an opportunity to practice stillness through intentional rest and guided group discussion. In a world full of rush, we must find time to rest in God. Being still is the only way we will be able to make moves and follow God. We pray that this time will help you learn how to posture your heart so you can listen to the LORD.

YOU ARE WORTHY OF REST.

Yes, you! You have permission to rest. You have permission to recover and give yourself a reset. You have permission to let go of any stronghold that the enemy has wrapped around you. You have permission to freely worship your Father with adoration and joy. You have permission to take a nap. And eat chocolate. And laugh with women who will most certainly become your friend. You not only have permission to rest, but you also have permission to fully become the person God has created you to be. You just have to carve out time to be still.

HOW DOES A REST RETREAT WORK?

Our Rest Retreat will be different from a women’s ministry conference, your small group gatherings, or your church’s Sunday morning sermon. One of the key components of our Rest Retreat is for us to actually REST! We believe in the power of the Holy Trinity and will meditate on the word of God through scripture found in the Holy Bible. When we order our bodies and hearts to listen to the Holy Spirit, we prayerfully desire for this to be a time for us to worship God and follow Him as we step into a new season.

YES, I NEED THIS! WHAT DO I DO?

Great! We can’t wait for you to join us! Go ahead and reserve your spot by submitting your payment online. If you have any questions about this event, send an e-mail to therestfullproject@gmail.com. Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to a friend. We look forward to a time for us to gather together and be still as we prepare our hearts for a new season.

“This is what the Lord commanded: ‘Tomorrow is to be a day of sabbath rest, a holy sabbath to the Lord.’
