About the rest + full project
Hi, we are Megan and Christen, two busy girls just like you, who are trying to seek spiritual rest in the midst of our busy schedules. We know that this goal of resting in God is a continual project and we are here to let you know that you are not alone! The rest + full project is a community for busy women to help you fight fatigue + find your focus for the season you are in. Our mission is to provide space for rest and renewal so you can draw peace, wholeness, blessing, and connection to the Lord and other Christ-followers.
What is the rest + full project’s Dinner & Devotionals?
We know that sometimes we don’t have a whole weekend to devote to intentional rest but we can often find an evening to set aside time to be still. Our goal is to host seasonal gatherings that allow women to come together over great food and discussion. We find that time together, even if for only a few hours, can fuel our souls to find rest in God. At our Dinner & Devotionals, you will savor the taste of a seasonal meal, socialize with like-minded women, and sit down over easy-to-use conversation cards to discuss a topic geared toward rest (there might even be a few more surprises too!). We hope you can join us for our Spring Tea!
You are worthy of rest.
Yes, you! You are worthy of rest. You are worthy to eat wonderful food and linger over the unhurried, intentional conversation. You have permission to let go of any stronghold that the enemy has wrapped around you. You are created to freely worship your Father with adoration and joy. And laugh with women who will most certainly become your friend. You not only worthy of rest, but you also are worthy to become the person God has created you to be. You just have to carve out time to be still.
Yes, I need this! What do I do?
Great! We can’t wait for you to join us! Go ahead and reserve your spot by submitting your payment online. If you have any questions about this event, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to a friend. We will be practicing COVID safety at this event. We look forward to a time for us to gather together and be still as we prepare our hearts for a new season.
“This is what the Lord commanded: “Tomorrow is to be a day of Sabbath rest, a holy sabbath to the Lord.’”
